Jason’s professional background is in the California State Legislature. He is interested in economic development in Latin America and Southeast Asia, national security issues, and American politics. Jason is a graduate researcher for the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation where he maintains a biosecurity blog and works on the Public Policy and Biological Threats program. He is president of the Pacific International Affairs Student Organization. Jason aspires to a career in public service, where he can work to improve the United States’ relationship with the international community.
