Charles graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in political economy and the development of post-revolutionary China. After graduation he moved to China to develop a better first-hand understanding of the rapid economic changes occurring there. During his four years in China, Charles worked as an English teacher, recruiter, and university economics lecturer. He is co-director of Export Access, a student-run consulting firm, and an officer in the China Focus student group. He envisions continuing his consulting expertise in market entry strategies in China.
