GLI Summer ESL Prep Program
GLI offers a five-week intensive ESL program during the summer to prepare fellows for the academic year.
The intensive English courses focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. Fellows are introduced to IR/PS course material that help participants become familiar with the content and the vocabulary of the IR/PS curriculum, and equip them with a sense of context for their academic, cultural, and living environment. Even though this is a rigorous academic program, there will also be time to build friendships and enjoy San Diego's sunny and temperate weather and extensive outdoor opportunities.
