Community Programs
IR/PS stands among the world’s top graduate schools of international relations and is the established leader in its focus on Asia and the Americas. It is a true global society of faculty, staff, students, and community partners dedicated to the advancement of knowledge through education and research. Following are just a few ways you can get involved today.
Dean's Roundtable
The Dean's Roundtable (DRT) is the School's flagship speaker program. It is one of the liveliest forums in Southern California for the discussion of current international issues focused on the Pacific region. Speakers present informative lectures on the global economy, up to the minute political insights and forecast future international scenarios. Donors to IR/PS who give $1,200 annually or more through the Innovation Fund are invited to attend all DRT events.
Public Lectures and Events
IR/PS hosts and co-hosts many public lectures on Pacific region topics. These lectures are open to all interested community members, and we encourage you to attend. Please visit the Events Calendar to learn more about the upcoming public lectures at IR/PS and related events at UC San Diego.
Faculty Lectures
Our faculty are experts on a wide range of subjects relating to international affairs and the Pacific rim. During the academic year, IR/PS faculty members share their expertise and insights with the community and students. They are accessible and approachable and are engaged with the San Diego community as well as connected to Washington, D.C. and abroad. We look forward to connecting you with our cadre of experts. Please visit the Events Calendar to learn more about upcoming general Faculty Lectures.
