Biography
Jim Short is Research Director for the Global Information Industriy Center (GIIC). His areas of research include information value and IT strategy, business process and business network redesign, IT forecasting and market transparency, and disclosure in technology businesses. His work has been widely published in academic and industry publications.
Jim holds degrees from MIT and was Visiting Associate Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He has held posts at the London Business School (LBS) and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, were he was a Fellow in the Belfer School of Science and Technology. Jim has also taught in the management information systems (MIS) programs at Boston University and the Theseus Institute, Sophia Antipolis, France. He is active in academic and industry professional associations.
