Postdoctoral Fellowships in Global Information Management
The Global Information Industry Center (GIIC) at the University of California, San Diego’s School of International Relations and Pacific Studies seeks a postdoctoral fellow. GIIC is located at UC San Diego and conducts research on trends in creation and information use. This is a one-year position with planned renewal. Postdoctoral fellows will conduct research on sources, uses, flows, and storage of information and data, leading to Center reports and academic journal articles.
We are now seeking candidates for these positions. Candidates should (i) hold a PhD in Economics or Management with research on related topics by August 31, 2009; (ii) Demonstrate excellent research potential or academic publication. Prior expertise or knowledge of computer tech and information industries is desirable. Interested applicants should send a cover letter describing their research interests and a list of 3-5 references (for each reference, please specify the affiliation and contact information) to pelane@ucsd.edu.
