Join UCSD's sustainability leader, IR/PS Professor Lisa Shaffer, and alumnus Matt Finkelstein ‘07, coordinator of UCSD's Sustainable Food Project, at Alchemy in South Park for creative and delectable appetizers from locally-grown ingredients, and to learn more about urban farming.
Alchemy in South Park offers a new fusion spilling over into music, art, culture and architecture, adding up to a worldly new neighborhood restaurant that knows no borders. Soundtracks move easily from flamenco to jazz to Motown. Art, from a variety of contributors, changes regularly. And the cuisine is artful too, treating fresh, often-local ingredients with a minimum of fuss for maximum flavor.
