DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Andrew Robb, Pacific Leadership Fellow at the Center on Pacific Economies, will discuss climate change and emissions trading, comparing and contrasting U.S. and Australian policies.<br />=0d=0a<br />=0d=0aMr. Robb is Australia's Federal Member for Goldstein, currently serving as the Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and the Council of Australian Governments. He is also the Shadow Minister Assisting the Leader on Emissions Trading Design, and he is considered to be one of the major bipartisan leaders on foreign policy.<br />=0d=0a<br />=0d=0aMr. Robb spent the early part of his career in agricultural economics with the Department of Agriculture, Victoria, before serving as Executive Director of the Cattle Council of Australia and later the executive director of the National Farmers&rsquo; Federation. Robb served as Federal Director and Campaign Director of the Liberal Party, leading the party to its notable 1996 win. He was elected to the Federal seat of Goldstein in October 2004.<br />=0d=0a<br />=0d=0aRobb was appointed to his current positions in September 2008. He has been awarded the Office of the Order of Australia and Centenary Medal for his service to agriculture, politics and the community.</p>
