Jessica Megill is focusing her studies on international economics and international environmental policy with a particular emphasis on climate change and clean technology. She is especially interested in the role of international institutions and multilateral negotiation in addressing global challenges. As a Foreign Service Officer specializing in political affairs, Jessica represented the United States abroad at missions in China and Germany. In addition, she worked in Washington, D.C. covering human rights issues in Iran. During her first year at IR/PS, Jessica worked with the External Relations team to write stories about students, staff, and events of note for the school website. Jessica graduated from Cornell University with a degree in linguistics, and spent her early career working as a financial analyst and writer.
