Greg has experience in small- and medium-sized enterprise development, financial analysis and management, marketing, and monitoring and evaluation for non-profit organizations. Before coming to IR/PS, Greg co-wrote grant proposals for rural education and small business development programs with Fundación Esquel in Quito, Ecuador. Last summer, he supplemented this experience in La Paz, Bolivia where he worked as a micro-enterprise consultant for ACDI/VOCA-Bolivia. During his time there, he helped agricultural producers analyze their financial positions and build marketing strategies aimed at accessing national and international markets.

As an economic and community development consultant for the Baja Project, Greg has worked closely with an aquaculture cooperative in El Barril, Mexico to develop a business plan, identify target markets, and raise seed capital. He also co-authored a community survey to assess water resource needs and using these results help the community institutionalize its water usage regulations.

After graduation, Greg plans to continue working in the international development field. He is especially interested in micro-enterprise development, trade issues, and the potential business expansion into emerging markets.
