Every event involving alcohol requires a one day alcohol permit. Indicate that alcohol will be served on the Event Proposal/Request Form submitted to Student Affairs. You will be required to devise a system to check identification and ensure that alcohol will not be distributed to minors.
Events involving alcohol should be proposed at least one month before the event date to allow for the processing of the alcohol permit and coordination of the alcohol purchase.

Important to Note
While it is not possible to involve all students, faculty, and staff for every event, it is in your interest to make your plans known! Organizing events through Student Affairs will provide your group's event the access to the internal school resources that will help reduce scheduling conflicts, provide you with unexpected resources, and promote a community spirit.
Student group web pages can be edited by a designated group representative to include event information. For more information about accessing and editing group web pages, visit the Website Editor Manual.Back to the top
