Political Analysis and Strategy Simulations (PASS)
PASS is a student-run organization designed to provide professional development experience for IR/PS students in the fields of political & policy analysis. PASS presents or co-sponsors three political crisis simulations per year that cover a variety of salient topics in international affairs. In PASS Simulations, IR/PS students use their skills in negotiation, analysis, and strategy to understand how high-level foreign policy decisions are made.

2011 Simulation: Cambio en Cuba: Negotiating the Post-Castro Environment
This student-organized simulation organized students on country teams to negotiate a political crisis in Cuba. This fast-paced simulation enhanced students' skills in political analysis and understanding how high-level policy decisions are made.
