Blake Tye

Operations Director

Blake is a master's candidate at IR/PS focusing on international management with a regional emphasis on Latin America. Before attending IR/PS, Blake worked for a local nonprofit where she specialized in organizational infrastructure, especially in the areas of board development, strategic planning, and human resources. Before this, Blake worked briefly for a nonprofit based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There she focused on international human rights work in immigration. She is an honors graduate of University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she received her B.A. in international relations and Spanish.

Nicole Nakagawa

Marketing Director

Nicole is a master's candidate at IR/PS specializing in international environmental policy with a regional focus on Japan.  Prior to IR/PS, Nicole worked as a research assistant in the Environmental Studies Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz for two years. During this time, she retrieved and analyzed data, wrote case studies, and made policy recommendations on local open space conservation issues in the U.S.  She also has experience in the areas of marketing and development for her family's business.  In 2008, she received her B.A. in environmental studies and biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.       
       

Michelle M. Quan

Finance Director

Michelle is a master's candidate at IR/PS with a focus on international environmental economics and sustainable development with a focus in Latin America. Prior to becoming part of the IR/PS community, Michelle was a program counselor for an international educational non-profit based in San Diego.  She also spent a year living and traveling through Central and South America. Michelle received her B.A. in international studies-economics in 2005 from UC San Diego.
          
 

Advisory Board
