Vault.com Industry Guides - Provides comprehensive information on companies and industries. Get expert advice, access to newsletters, data on salaries and view career discussion boards. You must register with the UCSD Career Services Center to use this resource.
APSIA International Career Guide: Options in the Field - APSIA's summary reports provide concise descriptions of a number of industries and career fields that will interest IR/PS students. These guides were updated in June 2006 and provide a host of links and employer listings to help with your career exploration. Sign in to IRPSCAREERS, select the "Resumes and Documents" icon, and look for the link to the APSIA Career Guide in the Documents section.

Super Pages, Yellow Pages - Use the "category" search feature to access U.S. Yellow Pages information.
PRNewswire - Search by industry or by keyword from a database of company press releases for corporate news.
Newsdirectory.com - Extensive links to newspapers and magazines. Job opportunities as well as current information about a potential employer (or industry trends) can be found in regional newspapers and other sources.
Craigslist - An electronic bulletin board for local listings based in cities worldwide. This site includes job listings, housing information, and more.
Simplyhired.com – a job listings site that culls information from other websites (works similarly to search engines such as Google).
Jobseek - Database of staffing agencies, searchable by region and industry specializations maintained by the American Staffing Association.
