Connect with alumni of UCSD’s International Relations/Pacific Studies program!
Career Services has put together a first online alumni advisors program focused solely on helping IR/PS students and alumni strengthen their career plans!
Alumni Advisors is a special feature of IRPSCAREERS that offers students and alumni a new way to connect and the opportunity to interact, sharing information about career or professional experiences, interests and networking contacts. As an alumni advisor, you also get access to job announcements.
Here’s how it works:
Alumni serve as "advisors" to students and other alumni. You may contact alumni about:
- job functions, roles or responsibilities
- insights into particular organizations or companies
- industry experience or regional focus
You are eligible to participate if:
- you are registered, and have updated your profile in IRPSCAREERS
- you have read and accepted the privacy policy
- you have read and understood the Guidelines for Alumni Advisor program (posted on IRPSCAREERS)
