IRPSCAREERS Alumni Advisors
Online access to a new IR/PS professional network. Alumni Advisors is an informal but significant way to give advice to current students. You choose how you want to participate: email or telephone, and how often: 1-5 times a month. This program also gives you the opportunity to contact other alumni in your fields of interest, and search job postings.
Career Mentor Program
This formalized program matches students with alumni starting in winter quarter, for an ongoing relationship which enhances IR/PS connections and strengthen the experience of students through the insights of alumni. Career News is an easy way to share news and announcements with students and alumni. You can post messages on our internal electronic bulletin board if you are currently using your @ucsd.edu email account. If your organization is seeking qualified candidates (jobs, internships, projects) please share this information via IRPSCAREERS and see our employer pages for other ways to connect with IR/PS.

Quarterly Alumni Connections
The Career Services team will encourage you to come home by providing a small "stipend" towards your travel costs. Every year the current students look forward to interacting with 15-20 alumni with a variety of professional experiences. In 2008, Winter Connections is January 17th and Spring Connections is April 10th. For more information, contact Nurit Mandel.
