Michelle Hurt is an senior analyst at Hicks & Associates in the Foreign Studies Research Center in Colorado. She is currently trying to start a Colorado IR/PS alumni chapter for alumni in the area to get together for seminars, weekend get togethers, and networking events.

Takae Okuma Johnson recently got married to an American, Gary E. Johnson, who lives on Oahu, Hawaii and moved there this year. Since leaving Vertical, Inc. in April 2003, she has kept her career as a "book producer" (introducing Japanese books and authors to the world) and "media consultant" (specializing in marketing and publicity for organizations). She travels back and forth between Honolulu and Tokyo.

Robert J. Olsen and his family and moved back to the States from Korea in June 2004. The Army wanted him in the Pentagon, where he is the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA (FM&C)) liaison to the Joint Requirements and Integration Office (JR&IO). His boss is the Presidential appointee to the Army's top Budget and Comptroller's office.

Susan Newell McCasland had a baby daughter, Dana, in February. She also recently started a new position as a business analyst for product management for Entriq, a software company in Carlsbad.
Rebecca Scotti is an associate program director at the San Diego Foundation. In September 2004, she held a class for about 40 nonprofits at IR/PS. The event was sponsored by the San Diego Foundation.
