Andrés has extensive knowledge of English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, which puts him in an excellent position to analyze the Asia-Pacific region. Andrés came to IR/PS to broaden his understanding of international politics, especially of economic and international political theory, and thus more accurately analyze this part of the world. He is fascinated by the immense changes occurring in the international political system and hopes to influence policy-makers who focus on the Pacific Basin. Andrés is a graduate of Bowdoin College and lived in China before attending IR/PS.
